The Christmas set

The set, in three moves.

The seasonal standards

The Christmas songbook in close harmony: the songs that were written for voices like these, sung the way the era intended.

The jazz book

The year-round classics that keep a December room elegant rather than novelty: warm through dinner, lifted through the toasts.

The modern twists

Today's hits reimagined in vintage arrangements: the moment the dance floor realises it knows every word.

Every set is balanced to your room. Browse the year-round setlist, see the four formats, or read our planner's guide to getting Christmas entertainment right. Venue or planner? Here's how we slot into your calendar.

Hear the standard

The voices, whatever the season.

This is our year-round showreel: corporate events, private dinners and luxury weddings. In December the songbook changes; the voices and the standard don't.

How the night runs

One act, the whole evening.

The arrival

Guests walk in from a cold street and a long year. Close harmonies and familiar songs in a vintage jazz style make the first ten minutes feel like an occasion: live, warm, unmistakably thought-about.

The dinner

Recognisable songs in vintage arrangements, played at a level that flatters conversation. The tables can talk, the room stays lifted, and the energy holds through every course.

The speeches

If the night carries a thank-you, a round of awards or a toast to the year, we frame it: a lift into the moment and a clean hand-back to the host, so it feels produced rather than bolted on.

The party

After dinner the job changes. More voices, a bigger sound, songs the whole room knows every word to. One act carries the night from dinner into dancing, so it builds rather than resets.

From the people who booked us

“From the moment I booked The Roxys I knew I had made the right decision. Our guests loved the vintage style the ladies brought to the modern music. Great to work with both pre-event and on-site. I will certainly be using The Roxys again and recommending to our clients.”

Amy Thursting Kin London Events

“We booked The Roxys for our NYE Party at Altitude and they were a welcome addition to the night. Their vocals were great and they looked stunning. Highly recommended should you want a class act for your corporate and social event.”

Questions

Planning a December party?

When should we book a band for a December date?

As early as you can, and ideally by late summer. December is the busiest month in the events calendar and the most-requested dates, particularly the Thursdays and Fridays in the first half of the month, are taken months in advance. Once your date and venue are confirmed, secure the entertainment next.

Do you only sing Christmas songs?

No, and that is the point. A good Christmas set blends seasonal songs with jazz classics and modern hits reworked in a vintage style, so the night feels like Christmas rather than a loop of the same ten carols. We tailor the balance to your room.

What size of line-up do we need?

It depends on the night. An intimate drinks reception or dinner sits naturally with our Jazz Café trio; a full party earns the six-piece Big Band. The same group scales across four formats, so one act can cover the whole evening.

Does live jazz work for a Christmas party?

Very naturally. Most of the classic Christmas songbook was written for exactly this idiom, so vintage-jazz arrangements feel festive without tipping into novelty. The result reads as Christmas, done elegantly: warmth and glamour rather than tinsel.

How do we check availability?
